This bakery is so cute! It has a "small/local business" feel to it, which I love! The staff are polite and attentive. We heard a lot about their tres leches cakes, so we ordered one for a birthday in the family. The smallest one they make can feed 20 people! But the price was very reasonable! The pickup went off without a hitch, and the cake looked very nice. It has some heft to it! This is a weighty and tasty cake! I really like the flavor of the cake. The frosting was very nice as well! The strawberry marmalade was good. We would eat this cake again! The only thing we wanted more of was the marmalade and the frosting. I really appreciated that the cake was very moist, but not leaking everywhere. I really like this place!
They have the best conchas I have ever had. The service is great, the lady who worked the front desk was very sweet and patient. The prices are also super affordable which I love. Me and my mom love coming here. Astounding.

Best Tres Leches in the East Bay! We ordered a birthday cake for 40 people here and there was more than enough cake for a half size sheet pan. This is as moist as a cake gets!
Once I entered the bakery, first thing you smell was the delicious baked goods. The lady that works here and young man are both very friendly. I spoke no Spanish but yet, they treated me like I was one of their own. The prices are affordable and the workers that we ordered the food for really enjoyed the tamales. Thank you ...thank you ...we like supporting businesses in our home town.
I had a train birthday theme party and they made such a beautiful cake for the theme. The cake was Tres leches cake and it was delicious!!! Look and taste...all five star. Everyone at the party loved it. Very friendly customer service!
I visited La Michoacana Bakery for the first time yesterday and immediately felt like I was stepping into a small panaderia is some Mexican pueblo. No frills, small & quaint--this spot is equal parts charming and convenient. My pan dulce purchases were tasty, and their options were not bad for a late Sunday afternoon (but I can't wait to come back during "off-hours" to get my pick of the racks). They take cards & Apple Pay -- and also sell fresh birote for your tortas or pambazos.
I would like to share my experience with La Michoacana at 3370 Main St in Oakley. AMAZING! I hired them to do custom breads (pan dulce) for my husbands surprise party this past weekend, they did the colors I asked for, made half size pastries per my request, and they were made just an hour or two before the event- can't get any fresher! They were beautiful, my house smelled like a bakery and they were the hit of the party! Very affordable price, I can't thank them enough! And did I say how delicious they were? Soooo good!
